DBX Systems Integration

Connecting computers, control systems, software and communication systems that were never meant to talk to each other.

I'm not taking new work at present, but past clients and enquiries are always welcome.

What we did

For about thirty years, first in the Houston, Clear Lake and Galveston area and later from northwest Indiana, this was my work: finding out why two systems wouldn't cooperate, and getting them to.

A teenage Doug in a red and white baseball shirt, sitting at a desk beside a computer terminal and a printer, smiling at the camera.
About 1981. A MicroTerm ACT-Va terminal and a TI Omni 810 printer, with an Ohio Scientific Challenger and its 8-inch floppy drives just out of frame. A high-school side job, entering pricing on a borrowed machine, with some Star Trek on the side.

Thank you

To my old customers: thank you for all of the great times and accomplishments that we achieved together. So many challenges, so many victories. Some of you I knew even before I had children, and now those kids are off living lives of their own.

A special shout-out to all of my friends at St. Mary Catholic School in League City, NASA and the Johnson Space Center, IBM, and Lockheed-Martin. Without all of you, I would not be half the person I am, and certainly not as technically capable.

Fair winds and following seas,
Doug
